Here at Lou's Cake Art we offer Custom Designed Cakes and Cupcakes for all of your event needs. From a small gathering of 10 people to large events of 200 plus guests, we can help meet your needs with custom planning and designing. We even offer trays of bite sized treats including but not limited to mini cupcakes and a variety of cookies and dessert bars.  We are NOT a retail location but rather an in home business.  We are currently 'By Order" only. Meet Lou

Lou is from  Caledonia, MS and lives with her husband, Steve, and three dachshunds, Bruno, Cooper, and Slinky. A mom to two boys and grandma to one grandson, she's made lots of fun birthday cakes. From a young age she has liked different aspects of art and design. Coloring, sketching, creating little paper crafts, painting, and ceramics  were a few of the things she experimented with growing up. After high school and having two little boys, she went to EMCC where she graduated in 2006 with a degree in Drafting and Design Technology. 

In 2009 she moved to Ohio returning to Caledonia in 2022. While there she was a stay at home mom, doing all the fun boy things like football, soccer, baseball, and even orchestra and choir. Of course, making homemade birthday cakes and cupcakes was a requirement. When her youngest boy started middle school, she decided to expand on her skills by taking a job at a local bakery. There she had a team of ladies to help guide and teach her. Learning not only decorating skills but also baker skills, she found a love for this world. As they say, the rest is history!

Creating beautiful, fun, crazy, glamorous, unique, tasty pieces of edible art is her passion. It's such an amazing feeling to create happiness and see the smiles, joy, and excitement on people's faces.  Not all art should last forever. Sometimes art is meant to be eaten! As Lou say's, Live, Laugh, Cake!
